Downtown Nixa on Main Street is seeing a lot of exciting growth and changes happening. Recently many buildings have been bought, rehabilitated, and are open as new businesses. There is a lot of enthusiasm and motivation from the downtown business owners, and the City Of Nixa to make the Main Street area a thriving hub of the community.

Many master plan options and site development studies have been discussed and explored while developing short term and long term phasing. Parking studies, pedestrian areas, green spaces, community areas, farmers markets, pavilion, festivals and streetscape are among the many things being explored. The downtown development master plan is in progress, but short term goals and phasing are already under way.
